For the staffing of the Department MSP (Managed Service Provider) we seek an experienced computer and network technician, with at least 3 years of experience in the field of technical support of small and medium-sized companies regarding Software & Hardware Solutions.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate should be able to support the company’s customers (daily problems in Workstations & Servers) at Hardware & Software level, without prior training and help with his knowledge in Cyber Security and Managed Services team in customer contracts.

The candidate’s daily schedule will include:

Supervision of Company’s Security Operation Center for security incidents
Supervision and problem solving for the company’s Managed customers and Partners
Visits for technical problem solving to customers of the company or repair technical problems remotely (Hardware/Software problems of any kind) throughout the area of Larnaca
Scheduled appointments for corporate clients, for formal testing or issuing an offer to upgrade infrastructure, network and security based on the solutions marketed by the company
Remotely inform partners about the company’s Services (Data Recovery, Cloud Backup, Cyber Security Solutions, Antivirus)
Use of a system for recording and quality control of processes (CRM)
Regular technical Webinars to partners and resellers of the company’s services as well as technical support of partners
Preparation of financial offers
Participation in teleconferences

Necessary Qualifications:

Fulfilled military obligations
Driver’s license
3 years proven experience in supporting corporate clients & individuals
Ability to solve Hardware & Software problems in the client area with full autonomy
Ability to solve Software problems remotely using Remote Support & Phone support
Installation & configuration knowledge of wired and wireless IP & DHCP / DNS trouble-shooting
Knowledge of Firewalls, Routers & Content Filtering Solutions
Applied knowledge in the field of Networking (Network Engineer)
Design and implementation of networks
Firewalls programming and customization
Programming and customization of Switches
Supervision of security systems (Remote Monitoring & Management)
VPN design and implementation

Will also be taken into account:

Knowledge of English in oral and written level
Communication Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform (Use & Management)
Domain Controller & Active Directory installation and configuration knowledge
Exchange Server setup and configuration knowledge installation and customization
Experience with Virtual Machines (VMware/Virtualbox/Hypervisor)
Microsoft SQL Server setup and configuration knowledge
Knowledge on Cyber Security
Basic knowledge of Linux systems support
