Sales & Business Development

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

– Own and deliver semi-/annual sales targets from new customers

– Actively participate in the development of the annual strategic sales plan in order to maximise business growth opportunities

– Source relevant new prospects using an extensive database scientifically to analyse and generate relevant opportunities for sales conversion.

– You will work directly with the Company’s C-Level Officers to drive the lead generation strategy seeking larger corporate opportunities

– Keep well informed about our industry in order to accurately forecast sales predictions and shifts in the marketplace

– Forecast opportunities for the Business Development Manager team and manage the progress of these opportunities through the CRM

– Provide detailed analysis of pipeline/performance when required

– Manage leads generated internally ensuring accurate recording/reporting on internal systems

– Control sales documentation for potential customers, eg. quotes, proposals, tenders and RFIs

– Recruit, lead, drive, motivate and develop a talented team to meet and exceed team targets

– Manage individual performance and regularly evaluate employee results against agreed KPIs

– Ensure every member of the team are effective professional company representatives of the Company’s services to the client, updating them on all developments/changes as appropriate

– Keep well informed about our industry in order to accurately forecast sales predictions and shifts in the marketplace

– Provide feedback on gaps in our range of products and services

– Keep up to date with client/competitor developments, providing feedback as necessary

– Identify solutions for revenue streams that are not performing as forecast

– Assist with other affiliated/subsidiary brands when required

– Resolve customer complaints regarding sales service

– Represent company at various events, conferences, exhibitions and/or networking events to promote products

– Plan as well as direct staffing, training, and also performance evaluations for the corresponding team(s)

– Evaluate and implement necessary tools for managing and analyzing all types of engagement between the company and external users (leads, customers, affiliates, resellers, etc)

Good To have:

  • BSc in Business Administration or Relevant, MIS, Electronics / Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Similar position
  • Advanced communication, reporting and interpersonal skills
  • Technical background
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent reporting and analysis
  • Understanding of Sales Performance Metrics
  • Product & Services Knowledge in our field is nessesary
